It is a purple banknote that bears the signatures of Gilberto Rodriguez Garcete and Angel Gabriel Gonzalez Caceres and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side contains a square symbol for the blind, a round coat of arms, a round emblem, and the portrait of Mariscal Francisco Solano Lopez. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Oratorio de la Virgen de la Asuncion y Panteon Nacional de los Heroes (Oratory of Our Lady of the Assumption and the National Pantheon of Heroes). Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized GI 1000 and a Cornerstones watermark. The banknote was demonetized in 2014.
