Description: Here's a pretty red pearl PARKER STANDARD PARKETTE from 1935, date marked second quarter. The pen is 4-7/8" long and has excellent gold filled trim. Aside from a several moderate teeth marks around the top of the cap, the plastic is also in very nice condition The is a prominent three line PARKETTE barrel imprint which includes the date mark, 25. The pen is a lever filler and in this case the lever is frozen in position and will probably need a new sac as well as a new J-bar. The nib is 14kt and it is marked "PARKETTE, MADE IN U.S.A., 35." It is a fine point with good iridium and only modest flexibility at most. The 35 could also be a third quarter 1935 date mark for the nib. Nice pen.
