Description: This listing is for a PARKER STANDARD PARKETTE mechanical pencil in gray pearl and with a 1st quarter 1940 date mark. The pencil is 4-3/4" long with a rounded black end on the cap. The double ring hardware retains a good gold finish and the plastic is flawless. The 2 line barrel imprint is still legible, visible in photo 4. The pencil uses .046" lead and operates perfectly. Under the cap it can be seen that this pencil made use of one of PARKER disposable lead cartridges. This one still has one lead, but the integral eraser is gone. A very nice pencil.
