Description: Parquetry Marquetry Multi Hardwood Box Round Lid 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" Hand Made This is a hand made parquetry wood box that is round with a lid and measures 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" diameter. This multi-hardwood box exhibits a one-of-a-kind checker pattern. I have spun it around in the photos so you can see the many interesting sides. Even the inside has a unique pattern. The lid is a solid single turned wood item...pretty rich tone reddish color. This is a vintage item. There is a felt on the bottom. The felt is a bit old looking but is functional and intact. The box is in good order with everyday wear. No chips or cracks. I don't see a maker's mark. My photos are of the actual item you are getting.
