Description: Painting is in excellent condition Pastel area is approximately 5”x5” Kenneth E. Zilisch has been painting throughout his life. From his early days on a Wisconsin farm, he always knew he was destined to be an artist, completing his first commissioned piece at just twelve years old. His creative drive led him to study graphic design at Layton School of Art and Design in Milwaukee, where he graduated with honors. During the 1970s and 80s, Ken’s passion and talent for fine art flourished as he painted alongside renowned artists in Door County, Wisconsin, and later in the Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire. Now settled in Erving, MA, with his wife Carol, Ken continues to explore various media, including pastels, woodcuts, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, and pen and ink. His work has garnered both regional and national recognition.
