Pearson became the county seat of Atkinson County in 1918. The Pearson Tribune was first published in 1917 and continued until around 1980, when the name was changed to The Atkinson Citizen. The articles in this volume are in chronological sequence starting with the first edition, May 24, 1917 and running through December 25, 1925. The articles consist of marriages, death notices, and news. The articles were written exactly as they were in the newspaper and were transcribed from microfilm. 322 page hard cover, with index.
