Description: PEASANTS DANCING BY MARZI & REMY 2 LITER 14" TALL VINTAGE STONEWARE LIDDED MASTER GERMAN BEER STEIN # 889.Excellent condition as shown, with some normal manufacturing flaws that are glazed over. There are no chips cracks or repairs to this big, beautiful piece. It stands about 14 inches tall, holds 2 liters, and the shape and colors are wonderful. Purchased at a local estate sale. The owners said they bought it in Germany many years ago, never used it, and have kept it behind glass ever since. The string for the hang tag is still attached, and the round paper disk that says "ECHTER ZINNDECKEL" on one side and MARZI-REMY HOHR GRENZHAUSSEN" on the other side was still inside the stein, and will be shipped with it. It weighs about 3-1/2 pounds without packaging materials.
