Penn 33-116 Clamp, 34-80T Studs - International 80T, 80TW, 80SW, 80STW Reel Part

Description: INSTALL NOTE: General Penn Rod Mount Clamp Size Info. (which applies to this listing and others, this listing is for 33C-116) All Penn rod mount clamps are key #33, meaning the manufacturer part number will always be 33-something. If you add a "C" then that usually indicates a complete clamp kit with hardware, ie screw/ studs, nuts etc. For example 33C-200. An "R" in the part number indicates a ringed clamp. The smallest (meaning most narrow) clamp Penn ever made is part number 33-49. The -49 does mean that it fits the model 49, but it also fits other models. 33-49 will fit any model Penn reel that uses a 30-49 stand. This is a short list which includes the following models ONLY - International 20, 49, 100, 110, 146, 349, 349H, 349HC, 501, 506. That's it. Some of these models are often called the JR. because they are the narrow version of another model reel that is otherwise identical. Such as 140 (wide) and 146 (narrow) A 33-49 is about 1.75" across total width. It's small. The next size up is 33-200 (metal) or 33-113 (plastic). Same distance between holes just different design for use with different studs. This is the most common size clamp meaning it fits by far the greatest number of different model reels. It's still fairly small though used on reels such as 4/0 senator. This distance between the holes (on center) is about 1.375" for clamp number 33-200 and 33-113. Then comes 33-114, which fits all 6/0 114, 114H, 9/0 115, 115L, plus the following Internationals: 30SW, 30TW, 50, 50W, 50S, 50SW, 50T, 50TW. When I say "it fits" I am saying the width is correct to match the width of the studs on the reel. Sometimes you will see a 33-50W which is the same width as 114, but may have larger holes to accommodate larger nuts (not sure of that at this time) There are however variations in clamp and associated hardware design despite the width sometimes being the same. There are some other part numbers of 50 and 50W width clamps. After that is 33-116 which fits 10/0 116A, 12/0 116/116L Senator as well International 80, 80W, 80T, 80TW, 80S, 80SW, 80STW, 130, 130H, 130S, 130ST. Then comes 33-117 which fits you guessed it, 117 14/0 Senator plus 118 16/0. 116 and 117 also fit some models of international (for example 116 will fit an 80T) - I don't have all that info compiled at time of writing this up.
