Description: Similar to other regenerative receivers that I sell except this one runs on a single 6 to 7 volt dc external power supply, plus a single 9 volt battery, which is plugged into a 9 volt snap, located on the back of the chassis. It has an added feature of a one transistor amp built in for increased headphone volume. You will receive several plug-in coils and a headset like the one pictured. These are made to order, so please allow about 10 for shipment once purchased. Pictured in green, but I will accommodate most any reasonable color option. Please let me know your preference at the time of purchase. The spectrum coverage is approximately 540 khz to 16.0 mhz, continuous, by changing the plug-in coils. It uses a type 41 pentode tube for the regenerative detector. Best reception is attained with a 50 to 100 ft. wire antenna. A good earth ground is essential for good performance. Controls are main and fine tuning, antenna coupling and regenerative action control. For the external filament source, you will need a well filtered dc power supply (or battery) capable of 6 to 7 volts dc, at approximately 600 ma., continuous duty. This item ships to the US only.
