NEW - Mint Condition. This is a beautiful Peter Leach Tall Wine bottle/water jug. The glaze is a Perfect oatmeal with a tenmoku swipe. The Jug/bottle measures 10 inches high (not including cork) x 4 1/2 inches wide at base. Marked with PL. This is an opportunity to own a wonderful authentic piece of Peter Leach's work. He is no longer making pottery. This piece dates from the late 60's. Peter studied under Warren @ University of Minnesota circa 1959-60. He began to set up my own pottery Studio in 1961. He retired in 2003 As you can see Leach uses the same techniques as Warren. Both have the "thumb print". The glazes are the same. The clay body is similar. Styles are very similar. This is just one piece of my large collection. I will be listing multiple pieces of Warren Mackenzie's work. I will also be listing work from his students and his contemporaries.
