The area is famous for these Pink Chalcedony Casts but most of the pieces I see for sale are not as nice as this one. It’s a nice pink color and the photos don’t do it justice. As a fossil person I shudder at the thought, but this one is nice enough to cut into attractive cabs if you desire. The piece measures roughly 31 mm in maximum diameter by 64 mm in length and one end is polished. This is a beautiful and unusual specimen. It certainly would make a great addition to any collection.
