I upgraded the handle to one size larger handle shank than the original handle; this reel is strong enough to handle it. I believe that this handle is an Outdoor Angler handle, that is very similar to a Penn handle; it looks good on the reel; it is left hand crank only. This reel shows one scratch on the rotor arm, in front of the right bail arm.
