Requires a base kit or power supply This add-on linear light requires a base kit that includes a 40-watt power supply, or a 95-watt power supply (both sold separately — see below). Either power supply can also provide current for additional Hue outdoor lights — you'll just need to make sure the total light output wattage remains under 40 or 95 watts. Control it with the app To set up the light, you'll need a Philips Hue Bridge (sold separately). Then, you can use the free Hue mobile app to select color and brightness, right from your smartphone.
