Black Obsidian draws you inward to the center of yourself and to your place of truth. It helps one to anchor the spirit to one's body and stimulates growth in all aspects. ---------------------------- ♡ A printed card of the following description will be included with your bracelet: PIXIU, also known as Pi Xiu, Pi Yao, Tian Lu, Bi Xie or Bai Jie, is an auspicious mythical creature with a fierce looking dragon head, winged lion body and claws. Some Pixiu have feathers, antlers and hooves. The Feng Shui celestial animal, still widely popular in Chinese culture today, is known mostly as a symbol of wealth dominance; attracting and preserving money. Pixiu is also believed to acquire all varieties of good fortune such as shielding its owner from evil spirits and negative emotions, as well as any form of danger or bad health. According to legend, there were two different Pixiu, namely male and female. The male, called Pi, with his head facing left; and the female Xiu, facing right. Today, most Pixiu are of a single sex.To attain the most benefit from Pixiu’s voracious appetite for wealth, make sure to wear your bracelet on your left hand. Chinese Feng Shui practices dictate that the left side of the body receives the world’s energy (CHI or QI) while the right side releases energy. As you work toward manifesting this goal, several times a day repeat the mantra while touching your Pixiu's body in mindful reflection. Do not wear your Pixiu bracelet to bed and avoid keeping the bracelet in your bedroom. Pixiu’s aggressive energy could disrupt your sleep. Rather, at night place it in a bowl with Pixiu's head facing a door or window to ensure it will continue to "hunt" for wealth. Never keep your Pixiu bracelet on the floor and do not place it next to a mirror. It is not recommended that children under the age of 16 and elderly people over the age of 70 wear a Pixiu bracelet. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible: > DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms. > AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones. > AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising. > ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off. > STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.
