Yellow interior is a glossy finish. The teapot is in very good condition however, please notice in the photos the last four show two small flaws. One on the spout, there is a tiny crack. And on the inner rim of the pot is another tiny crack. I tested by putting water in the pot, poured it out and did not have any effect on the cracks . The teapot is 7 inches wide spout to handle, 5 inches in height and approximately 5 inches in diameter. The teapot holds 20 ounces of water. The teapot was made from the late 1970’s through the early 1990’s. One of the artisans son’s reached out to me to let me know what years his mother painted these dogwood flowers!
