This kit will save most builders at least a full days work and delivers a kit that you and your scout can easily finish and be very proud of on race day. With the addition of some high quality wheels and axles and this can easily be this years winner. The body is cut from the official original scout pine block then machine sanded at 120 grit to remove the saw marks. Weight pockets are pre-milled in the perfect location for speed and stability and I include a custom molded lead weight kit that fits the weight pockets perfectly with instructions on installation for best performance. A dab of glue and drop them in the pocket, that’s it! The axle slots are high precision pre-drilled as well and are made on my vertical mill with custom tooling to ensure the most parallel axle installation possible with only a press in fit, no glue needed or recommended for axle installation! I even include fine and extra fine sandpaper for your use before painting if you want to. This kit is the real deal and arrives ready for your scout to take over. The elements that require adult supervision and power tools are already taken care of.
