Description: This listing is for a beautiful Pioneer PL-570 Quartz Synchro Pulse PLL Direct Drive Fully Automatic 2-Speed Turntable from 1978, considered top-of-the-line at the time. It has a P-mount Shure M104E phono cartridge with a used N-92F stylus. The unit has been thoroughly tested, and all mechanical functions are operating as intended. The timing motor has been replaced with an OEM motor PMX-037. Additionally, we have cleaned, lubricated, and deoxidized it, and added silicone damping to the cueing mechanism.The original faux wood vinyl has been replaced with real wood veneer, finished with an oil-based finish and topcoats. The clear dust cover has some scratches, scuffs, and small "stress cracks" near the hinge areas. The control panel is missing some graphic text.Please carefully review all pictures, as they are an integral part of this description.We take great care in packaging for shipping. The turntable will be packed with the platter, mat, counterweight, hinges, and headshell removed and separated to prevent damage during transit.
