A FINE (THOUGH INCOMPLETE) PITCAIRN POST OFFICE POSTMARK (type 2.5) of 27 September 19(62) ties Sc.# 26 on a blue, lightweight Shaw Savill Shipping Company envelope to FULDA, West Germany, a very unusual destination at the time of the 'Cold War'. See all images. There is no indication of the sender of the cover, or the ship which carried it. However, Pitcairn was a hive of activity then, with THREE ships arriving in 8 days - the Federal Lines' M.S.
