LP has been cleaned, play tested, sleeved and protected in an outer sleeve. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LP outside the original cover. The LP plays through fine - NO SKIPS! Some hardware/software, or a better cleaning, may eliminate more of the noise. These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same.
