Description: NOTE: POLAR MADE/MAKES SEVERAL DIFFERENT HEART RATE TRANSMITTERS, INCLUDING THREE DIFFERENT WEARLINK MODELS. JUST BECAUSE THE POLAR NAME IS ON THEM DOES NOT MEAN THE TRANSMITTER WORKS WITH ALL POLAR HEART RATE WATCHES. This is not a Bluetooth version. Again, not every transmitter works with every watch or device. Do your research-- the Internet has a ton of info. Or better yet refer to your user manual, call Polar--their US office is in Long island, NY and their customer service is superb, or email me and I will check. Do not, however assume that because it says Polar on it, it will sync with your heart rate watch or your device. This unit is not bluetooth compatible but it is compatible with many Polar watch models. ALSO: heart rate transmitters are simple devices and I've sold easily 100 over the last few years and the ones that came back were because: the user installed the battery backwards, the battery was dead, the user did not wet the two sensors correctly, the user did not position the transmitter correctly, the user did not check the compatibility of the transmitter with his/her device and finally, the user's device was the problem since the transmitter tested fine upon return. This is a NO RESERVE listing for ONE ( I have five to sell) USED, Polar Wearlink Coded heart rate monitor sensor with Polar chest strap in excellent USED condition. The strap size is M-XXL (as shown in the photo). I've also included the instructions on a CD. Having owned a ton of chest strap sensors of this type I can tell you the instructions given in most manuals is only partially correct. YES, you do have to wet both side of the sensor but most makes do not tell you that you may have to wet them a lot more than a few drops. For this HRM sensor, the two wetting ares are the two rubber shiny black panels on the underside. The way I do it is attach the strap to my body--AND NOTE the Polar Wearlink Logo has to read correctly (not upside down), and the center part must be right below your breast bone area, centered on your chest. Once attached, go to a sink, rotate the strap clockwise vertically while keeping it in place and then run some water and put two fingers under the water and generously wet both the senior areas. Then rotate the strap counter clockwise vertically so the sensor rests against the chest. If you do not wet the sensors enough, none of these chest type HRMs will work. Also, if the battery is dead, they don't work. I have tested this unit recently AND IT IS WORKING. A used battery may pr may not be included, depending upon how many batteries I have left. This item comes as shown, with a CD of the instructions for this sensor. The sensor is in very good plus USED condition and the strap is in very good used condition, showing some normal wear but it does not need replacing. This unit takes CR2025 batteries which are easy to get and only cost a few dollars. Shipping is FREE USPS First Class Mail with tracking. Good luck bidding.
