All of my Polliwoggs for sale are the original creations of skilled artists and carvers, David Critchfield and Vic Fortunato and were produced by Salamander Graphix in limited quantities. These figures were crafted in resin, hand painted, highly detailed, and were made to resemble vintage paper mache and paper pulp Halloween decorations of long ago. They were purchased in 2002 and predate the brief production run of some of Critchfield and Fortunato’s designs by Dept. 56. These are intended for the serious collector of folk art and Halloween and will only increase in value given their scarcity and unique charm.
