Description: This is a unique and very interesting item- a jar/vase, what was made in Eastern Germany, which means at least 35-40 years ago. Echt Kobalt company was established in Germany 1762 and had a royal trade mark. After WW II the; Echt Kobalt name was used in Eastern Germany, but there are Echt Kobalt manufacturers in Bavaria in Munich as well. This one was made in the Eastern Germany. The vase is 8" tall and the diameter of the bottom is almost 2 3/4". As You can see in the picture it has a mark on the bottom: "1762 Echt Kobalt Made in GDR". The quality wise is the same as those were made back in time in W Germany. Nice and collectible item. It doesn't have any cracks or chips, looks like a brand new.
