The widest diameter is approximately 6" and the opening is 3.5". This set is in like new condition. The tureen features a bold peony on one side and passion flowers on the other. The sides have butterflies as does the lid and ladle and the ladle has a spray of feverfew in the bowl. Rhododendrons circle the lid, the tureen base, and the outside of the ladle.
