Depending on the primary voltage, these 25 VCT transformers will measure 24-31 VAC across the outer two taps (winding as a whole), and 12-15.5 VAC from each outer tap to the center-taps (half winding) . The two secondary outputs are 180 degrees out of phase with each other, making it easy to derive positive and negative 12-15 volt DC power supplies from them. Center-tapped transformers can be used as a phase inverter to drive the two output tubes of a push-pull stage. Test Results ---------------- Secondary measures 30.6 Vac with primary at 121 Vac (3.95:1)At 121 Vac, measures 15.23 Vac & 15.16 Vac across center taps NOTE: Although all transformers are from the same production batch, actual results for individual transformers may vary slightly.
