Here we are presented the second variant A, for this model. This was the 1st system 35mm camera designed from the start. There is a ton of info on this camera on the internet, so do a search and read, please. I am going to discuss the condition as I tested this SLR. All old German & Japanese 1955 SLR cameras have serious faults. Usually, it's bad shutter speeds B,1-1000, this ones speed sounds ok, and the 2nd curtain is closing all the way. However, there's a worn area leaking light in the shutter curtain. (See photo). The prism release is a sliding switch, directly under the lens breech lock, Z>A , slides off prism. This camera is so beautiful that a CLA is recommended. Film shutter winder works well. Optics of the viewfinder are clear. The lens a Flektogon 35/2.8 is semi auto type, cocked open by lever. Shutter release will close aperture at release time. These lenses have a fault, clouding of the rear elements. The lens and camera are as I found in. The front optics clear, the rear element is hazy.
