This indicates the knife was hand made at Puma Werks in Solingen, Germany prior to 1964. It has stag handles with lots of character. The knife has stunning stag handles. The blade was made from German Besteel steel. The knife measures 9" overall with a 4 3/8" blade. The knife also comes with a genuine Puma original leather sheath. The finger guard is made of mirror polished German silver. The blade is etched with: PUMA - WERK - SOLINGEN - MADE IN GERMANY - HANDARBEIT - BSTEEL - NO - 3591. The knife comes in the vintage factory green box with the factory leather sheath. This Puma knife was hand made at PUMA Werks in Solingen Germany. This is a Pre 1964 stag Puma 3591 Waidmesser.This is a chance to own a piece of PUMA cutlery history.
