This harness features a special single coil pickup with a flanged black plastic base plate that makes it easy to surface mount on your build (you will still need to cut a hole in the surface to accommodate the bottom of the pickup). The pickup is wired to 500KOhm mini tone (with capacitor) and volume pots, and from there to the mono output jack. Black plastic Tone and Volume knobs are included along with mounting hardware for good measure. Please note that the pickup itself is actually a modified 6-pole pickup, with a 4-pole cover and special magnet arrangement to "hide" two of the poles.Best of all about this deal is the PRICE!
