Description: Premium Carbon ABS Guard, Light Grey and Black Logo with Silver shadow effectThis premium guard is made from Carbon reinforced ABS Plastic in a Graphite colour which compliments the factory Harley ABS plastic surround. The composite material provides an appealing surface texture and also has thinner guard fins than our standard guard due to the material being stronger than ABS plastic.An efficient design that maximises open area to the oil cooler. Our guards have significantly more open area than other guards and mesh options available on the market whilst still providing a high level of protection from stones and debris projected from the front tyre. Guards fins are in-line with the direction of airflow and also aligned with the tubes of the oil cooler. With the guard fins being in-line with the airflow (and the depth of the guard fins being deep enough), all stones or debris being projected from the tyre are deflected from hitting the delicate fins of the oil cooler itself.Logo outline colour is Light Grey and incorporates a Black logo centre with Silver colour behind the logo for a shadow effect. Logo is made from ABS Plastic. Multi Colour Guard is made from four separate interlocking parts bonded together.As parts are made in their finished colours they will not chip from stones, unlike guards that are painted.Suits '18-later Harley Davidson M8 Softail models.Australian designed and manufactured.Protects oil cooler from damage caused by stones and debris being projected from the front tyre.Guard does not make contact with any part of the oil cooler so will not leave any marks on the cooler. Fits to the inside of the standard plastic OEM Harley Oil cooler surround and firmly held in place once plastic surround is refitted.Easy to install. Simply remove the OEM Oil cooler surround by first removing the T27 bolt using the provided tool, unhook surround from top of oil cooler and remove from bike, fit oil cooler guard to inside of the plastic surround, re-hook top of surround to oil cooler whilst keeping the stone guard in place in the surround (hold surround and guard with one hand at the bottom to keep them together while using other hand to re hook top of surround to oil cooler), and lastly tighten bolt.Torx T27 Allen Key tool included.
