You are bidding on a very rare item related to President Jimmy Carter: - JIMMY CARTER'S PERSONALLY OWNED DOCUMENT BRIEFCASE used as Governor of Georgia between 1971-1975. Black leather document case, 11" x 16 3/4", with a Velcro closure and bearing the name of the 39th president of the United States, "JIMMY CARTER” in gilt letters at lower right. The inside of the flap is marked: "Compliments of Community Development Division, Georgia Power Company" An enameled American flag pin has been affixed to the outside of the flap at upper left. The flap shows tears where it connects with the body of the case, else very good. Please take a look at my other auctions, including other signed books. I combine shipping on multiple auction wins.
