Although this was done on a high quality tape recorder, bear in mind that the sound was originally on cassettes. This means you will be able to detect a very slight hiss in the silences if you listen carefully and there may be very mild distortion of e.g. the music as the tape has to be at constant speed (I think maybe it was the original music recording as the speech seems fine). I'm mentioning this as twenty years ago you would never have noticed, but if you haven't recently heard a tape or LP and you use CDs and MP3 every day your ears will notice the slight difference as we're all now used to such pure sound! See my other items if you want the improved audio of the second edition which is on CD. I'll supply the MP3s on a CD, although please bear in mind that they won't play on a normal CD player unless it's MP3 compatible (or you convert them to a normal CD).
