This is a rugged hard plastic design and everything has a tight and proper fit designed using a 3d model of the console, so it will remain secure while traveling without movement with only gentle force on the console. The hinges for the main body and clamps use stainless steel m4 bolts with nylon locking nuts to ensure that they won't loosen over time. The latches were made to be extra durable.
