The kit is brand new and the shell is wrapped in the manufacturer's tissue. I pressed the tissue to the shell to make sure each box had the correct train car. The kit is from my father’s personal collection. As a lifetime model railroader, he has acquired an incredible collection of engines, cars, buildings, figurines and supplies. He has very meticulously built cars and kits paying specific attention to details. He is in the process of thinning out his massive collection. Any flaws to the item will be listed above.
