Description: This is a Proto 2000 SW 8/900 Santa Fe switcher Locomotive. It is like new in the original box with all paper work. However, I could not get it to run on a test track and no sound. I did test the motor with direct test leads and it does run. I do not have a DCC controller. but it should produce some sounds on my DC controller. This is the risk of buying trains that look new at auctions!! Obvious this was a store return! Very nice Locomotive, worth repairing. May only be a loose wire?
