Description: An "Impossible" to find, full complete set of 14 Emille Puiforcat Luncheon knives in Solid 950 silver. The Blades and handles are solid 950 silver (better than sterling) and whats important to note is that this is the first period Louis XVI around 1840-60 snd there are NO monograms on them which is incredible. NOTE, there are two of these 14 that are a 1/4 2" longer than the other 12 and these only have Silver handles. And they are monogramed. So TWO of the 14 are monogrammed and the matching set of 12 is NOT monogrammed. The set of 12 matching Knives measure 8 1/4" long and are the only matching set in existence for sale anywhere and we have been told they are around $290-390 for each knife like this but we are offering an incredible deal for all 14 knives. Together all the knives weigh 653 grams or 23 standard ounces of silver. This set of 14 luncheon knives is a rare find for collectors of fine silverware. Made by the esteemed French silversmith Emille Puiforcat in the Louis XVI style, these knives are crafted from 950 sterling silver and feature a stunning Louis XVI pattern. The knives are in excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear or damage. Each knife measures approximately 8 inches in length and weighs approximately 52 grams. The blades are made from high-quality steel, and the handles are adorned with intricate floral and scroll designs. This set is a beautiful example of French silver craftsmanship from the mid-19th century, and would make a stunning addition to any collection.
