Description: Pumpkin on a Stick Eggplant Solanum integrifolium This is Solanum integrifolium, the eggplant commonly known as "Pumpkin on a Stick." The orange-when-ripe eggplants look very much like 2 inch pumpkins. Very decorative for the fall season. Also used in Oriental cooking, though they are somewhat bitter. Simple to grow in-ground or in a 5 gallon bucket. Keep well watered but not overwatered and fertilize with any common vegetable fertilizer. Seeds started in March should produce ready to harvest stems by September. You'll get at least 20 seeds from the 2023 crop, plus a sheet of instructions on how to grow them.
