Almost all the defects that affected the grade of these comics is from quantity and size of spine breaks with a couple that graded lower having a corner crease.Shipping weight for comics: The package weight for the 1st comic is 8 ounces with another 2 ounces per comic thereafter. Five to eight comics will be shipped via Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelope. More than eight will be either Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate box or USPS Parcel Ground Select, whichever is most cost-effective.Notes on grading: Please note the grading is subjective, so use the pictures provided to make your own judgment. I use the Official Overstreet Comic Book Grading Guide (3rd edition) to determine grades. I try to list all noticeable defects, examining the front and back cover, the 1st interior page to note page color, and the center of the comic to check the staples. I am definitely not an expert at detecting restoration but I will note in the description if I see anything obvious. Lastly, if a book is lower grade and has several moderate or large defects, I may not note all the small minor defects. (Ex. 3" crease on cover will be noted but an 1/8" corner fold that is on the same book might not be listed). Also on page color: Different types of paper has been used over time so the term "white" is a relative term. White should be considered best page quality with "off-white", "cream", "tan", and "brown" being considered poorer quality pages. Shipping: Calculated by weight and shipped First Class Package Rate, Parcel Post or Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope/Box. International: Postage by weight and destination, shipped first class international in large envelopes with cardboard to keep from being bent or boxed for larger quantities.
