Description: A fantastic vintage fluorite cluster mantel clock with Lanshire, Illinois movement. Clock face set within a large heavy cluster of purple tone crystals. Has plug-in cord for power. Measures approx. 9.25"h x 11.75"l x 4"w, weighs approx. 21.6 lbs. In fair vintage condition, with general light wear commensurate with age, such as dings and scratches to the clock's metal back panel, a couple light surface scratches/scuffs to the glass panel over the clock's face, and some chips/scratches to the fluorite clusters (but these are camouflaged by the crystal's natural roughness) - see photos. Some type of binding agent was observed between the cracks of the clusters (perhaps multiple fluorite specimens were joined?). Has not been checked internally, but second hand moves when plugged in. Clock dial is marked "Movement by Lanshire, Chicago, Illinois U.S.A.," metal back panel is stamped "Model for A.C. Only, 105-125 V. 60 C.Y. 2.5 W., U.S. Pat. 2437201, Other Pats. Pend."
