Description: Very hard to find set of six old fashioned/whiskey glasses in etched crystal by Glencairn, Scotland. Each glass commemorates the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship with an etched panel of the profile of the ship and her title, as well as 2 other panels carrying an etched thistle. All glasses carry their original Glencairn Crystal Studio labels. In the original velvet covered and satin lined case, both inside and outside of the lid carrying a metal plaque for the QE2 in relief. Very limited production of these sets by Glencairn in the 1990's. Approximate glass measurements: each is 3 3/8" tall, 3 1/8" diameter at the top rim. Condition Notes:Listing as used since the glasses have been in long term storage, they were never used, always stored in their case. All original labels still in place on each glass. Liner of the case shows a few marks from long term storage as well as the exterior showing a few rubs in the velvet covering at the corners. Hinges are solid.
