Description: Boston Collectible "Funny Epitaphs" - A.W. Eaton Rare 1902 See Owner Note Inside A note in pencil, inside, reads: William Churchill Edwards from Mother Dec. 25, 1905. Of interest is the fact that William Churchill Edwards was an author and City Historian of Quincy, Massachusetts. Quincy is part of metropolitan Boston as one of Boston's immediate southern suburbs. This book came out of an estate in Boston. Remarkably good condition since 1902. Less than average vintage wear. I think the name and his history inside is of great value in and of itself, not to mention the funny epitaphs (I love the epitaph that reads, "Here lies an editor." .. last photo.)
