Description: Beautiful reprint from original Lithograph of the R. C. Gorman "RED PEPPERS". Beautiful, colorful, detailed print of a Navajo woman in sitting position with a large basket of Red Peppers. R. C. Gorman has been called the "Picasso of the Southwest". He is an artist known all over the world. His works are in many museums and he is represented by galleries throughout the U.S. and in Europe. He works from the Navajo Gallery in Taos, New Mexico. Gorman passed away in November 2005 . When once asked how he would like to be remembered, Gorman replies :That I was a hard worker and that I cared about people." Framed in a 11 x 14" solid oak wooden frame with glass and double mat in blue and beige that picks up the colors of the print. Print is 7 x 9". Total dimensions with frame are 13 1/2 x 16 1/2. Great addition to your R.C. Gorman collection. My photo does not do justice to the actual beautiful print. click here for other great Gorman prints
