Description: Pair of Rene Lalique fleurettes lot, consisting of two perfume bottles with stoppers and one bowl. Fantastic estate find! René Lalique designed his "Fleurettes" (Small Flowers) "Garniture de Toilette" (Bathroom Set) in 1919. The motif depicts vertical ribbons of small flowers along the square bottle and one horizontal around the heavy stopper, as well as around the rim of the bowl. The set came in blue and ochre, these being the latter. Both bottle measure 6 1/4” tall including stopper and are roughly 3” square. They are signed with a raised “Lalique” stamp mold mark with a faded “France” mark below. The bowl measures 2 1/2” tall and is 7” in diameter. It is signed “R. Lalique” under foot but is very hard to see due to the wear of being 100 years old. Condition: all items present will, but there are flaws. ochre color loss throughout all pieces. Wear to the underside of the bowl and base. Flea bites to various spots: under the lip of one bottle rim, inside the bottom of the bowl, to stoppers and rims. Two chips to the underside of one stopper. One bottle has a superficial crack (that does not go all the way though) on the inside of its mouth. I’ve tried to photograph all of the damage I have described.
