Trall (real name Russell Thacher) was a hydropathic (i.e. "the water cure") doctor and also the author of *The Hygeian Home Cook-book; or, Healthful and Palatable Food without Condiments*, a vegetarian cookbook. We have seen the wood engraving and text reproduced in magazines of the era, but cannot locate another copy of the broadside.
