Rain King Lawn Sprinkler H-1 Chicago Flexible Shaft Co Sunbeam 1920s 30s

Description: I have up for sale a wonderful antique circa 1920s - 30s RAIN KING Model H-1 Sunbeam Line of the Chicago Flexible Shaft Co - Chicago , Illinois. The sprinkler stands approx 11-1/4" tall to the top of the sprinkler heads , the base measures approx 5-3/4" x 6-3/4" . A normal size hose end screws into the unit. The spray distance can be adjusted by turning the ring on the nozzles . I can not get the sprinkler to spin , I am not sure if it was made to spin or not. - maybe I am not understanding how to do it OR it wasn't meant to spin - I have no idea. Sold As Is. Rain King sprinklers were part of the Sunbeam line of the Chicago Flexible Shaft Co. The design was officially patented in 1925, but it had been in production as early as 1922. An adjustable hand wheel offered customers the option to lock in a stationary water stream, or turn it the other way for a revolving spray from the two nozzles. Sunbeam eventually became a well known home appliance brand. Please view each and every pic , ask for more if needed - do so prior to purchase.
