(A series of 709 designs published by “Au Bureau du Journal des Dames et des Modes” depicting French furniture, carriages, draperies, decorative objects, jewelry, etc.) Marked “No. 250” this design features “Glace en Ecran, Drapée.” In researching this design/collection, I have found helpful and truly insightful information from The Metropolitan Museum of Art (see below) and the New York Public Library to name just a few… Keep in mind, this item is over 200 years old.
