The base is signed with a crisp Jeffords’ blue diamond Warranted/Fireproof stamp and has ten feet shaped like kernels of corn a design feature unique to Jeffords. The outside is decorated with a pleasing molded acanthus leaf design around the outside of the nappy. In the center of the base is a large early mark used by Jeffords dated 1870. The nappy measures 12 ½” in diameter by 3 ½” high. The nappy is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs. Large nappies in this original mint condition are rarely found and are highly collectable.
