Description: This is a beautiful 1886 Elgin Giant Antique Rockford Illinois Grade 72, 15 Jewels, 18s Hunter Pocket Watch. This pocket watch is run quantity 100, grade/model run 1 of 1, and grade/total production 100. For this watch, being over 130 years old, it runs great, keeps time, and is in excellent condition for the age. There has been only 100 of these pocket watches with this movement made in total. There is a small name engraved. See pictures. All hinges snap closed as should. When you push the wind button to open the front of the case, it may need little help sometimes, but you can feel spring working. This watch appears to be a soft/flexible metal and is very heavy. This watch weighs [ 5 Ounces ]. There are no monograms on the outside of the watch case and a beautiful bird on the back. Level set and stem wind watch.
