Description: Antique 1909 West Bros. Souvenir of Providence, Rhode Island.Antique original 1909 Lantern - "Barn Type #2" ruby flash glass souvenir candy container. I believe this was made by West Bros. Co., Grapeville, but it is unmarked. 4 1/4 inches tall. 3 inches wide.The lantern is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The lamp is missing the wire metal handle and the base is threaded with tin lid bottom. No chips or cracks in the glass. Gold wash is worn in areas. Ruby flashing and lettering are in excellent condition.I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
