Description: This rare 1930s Dutch “Matrozen Shag" litho tobacco tin, measuring 3” x 4 1/4” x 7/8”, is in good condition with no rust, a couple of pinpoint dents and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. This very attractive gold tin features a detailed graphic of three smiling sailors sitting together, smoking pipes. Their image is framed by a yacht braid port hole. The tobacco was manufactured by J. & A. van Rossem Tobacco, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
