Description: RARE (1932) PET MILK COOKBOOK, "THE PET COOKBOOK," IN LEATHERETTE CARD 2-RING BINDER An original and complete 1932 "The Pet Cookbook" for collectors of cooking ephemera and, particularly, The Pet Milk Company, during the time they were headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The cookbook is in good condition commensurate with age and use. The cover is made from a fiber material that is covered in an earlier plasticizer to give the owner the impression it is made from smooth leather; similar to bonded leather, but not quite. The cover binder is comprised of two nickel-plated rings that hold the paper inserts (200pp). The pages, while complete do exhibit discoloration consistent with age; however, the color plates are still rather bright!:) Overall, a very handsome old cookbook!
