Description: Howard Hughes, The Hidden Years by James Phelan provides a behind-the-scenes look at the twilight years of Howard Hughes, and the associated madness of that time. This particular edition is the first paperback edition, the book was previously published in hardcover format. This edition includes full illustrations for several pages in the front and back, some are depicted in photos. There is damage along the spine which a previous owner has used tape to rectify. The spine's outer layer has begun to peel and the totality of the spine is creased. This book has been read. Technically the book's spine isn't "broken" yet, though right in the middle, you can see this time is coming soon. However, the book is entirely readable, it's entirely displayable, and it's a bit historical as it's rare, and provides insight that's hard to find elsewhere, even through the internet. For associated damage issues, this first mass market edition, first printing of the book has been priced low.
